My name is Shannon Amy. I created this memorial page for my father, Charles Amy. Let me begin by saying that my father was a hard-working man. Like many others, my father endured a difficult journey throughout his childhood and adulthood as well. But no matter what the situation, my dad always did the best he could. I'm grateful because I have learned from both my fathers successes and mistakes as well. He taught me a lot. About 4 years prior we lost my mother Tammy Amy. The loss of his wife took a heavy toll on his heart. I always remember how much he would say he missed mom and wish he could do things different and have her back. But me and my father used eachother for support as much as we could. I love and miss my dad, he'll always be my daddy and I will always be his little girl. I remember when I was little I would sleep on his stomache and listen to his heartbeat, then slowly fall asleep. I wish I could be wrapped in your arms again dad, I felt so safe and loved. But I know you are in a happier and peaceful place. You and mom are finally reunited, and that's what matters. I'm 18 years of age and I strive everyday to make my parents proud. You'll always be in my heart and mind daddy. Love you.
